Spring Break (March 26) - Paper pulp painting

Somehow Spring Break seemed like so long ago, but it had just ended 2 weeks ago!  I tried to keep the boys busy, so we started with another art "crate" that we had ordered online.  This time it's a Paper Pulp project.  I have no idea what this one is about!

Okay, so looks like we tear up the paper provided into little pieces and then put them into these little squirt bottles or jars.  And then, once these shredded pieces are paper are mixed with water, we can squirt this "mush" onto our design:
So far so good!  Just glad we didn't spill anything on the table or floor.  These kits are so well equipped!
As we wait for the art to dry, Charlie decides to take a "spring break nap".  Can you spot him in Mommy's chair??!  Ha ha!
Well, Charlie's nap didn't last long as Graham's music teacher showed up for an in-person lesson.  I'm so glad she was able to do this! It's probably only going to happen once a month or so, but definitely something Graham looks forward to:
After a day of waiting for the "mush" to dry, we are finally able to hang the art.  Love Charlie's rainbows :-D
In the meantime, Graham decides to also create his own paper pulp painting:
He grabbed one of my star cookie-cutters instead:
It's quite the chore to soak up all the water when your design in done:
Ta da!!!  I love this one too!
There's still leftover paper for another project.  I'll have to eventually get my own done too - whenever that might be :-)
