Last bit of Big Bear

I didn't get a chance to finish posting about our trip at Big Bear.  We had finished up with our Jeep Tour (in the last post) and I forgot to post this photo of us eating ice-cream after that adventure.  Ya, ice-cream and chips at 9pm!

The next day, we were able to get a slightly late checkout.  Thank goodness because it was Bad Hair Day!
Thankfully it's a quick fix.  Ha ha!
We decided to hit downtown Big Bear for some lunch.  But first, woah... what huge chained wheels! It's a good thing we didn't need to do that do our car:
Not too busy in downtown Big Bear:
While Daddy waits on our order, Graham and Charlie decides on dessert first.  Plus, they were tempted to get another sparkly stuffed animal.  That would be a no!
Ahhh... a good spot for a quick take-out lunch.  The sun actually disappeared so it got quite chilly! Bobby had to go back to the car to get our sweater :-)
Brotherly love...
After lunch, it is time to hit the road.  Looks like snow clouds??!
But it's blue skies on this side!
Yup, it is snow!!!
Boys were so excited to see snow in person.  It's been so long since our last snowfall and the boys were probably too young to remember.

Looks like there were many parts of the hills around us during our drive down were scarred from fire:
And we found our river! Not as much water as the summer, but enough no less:
The boys love this stop on the way down from Big Bear.  It is the last bit of the San Bernardino valley. Family we-fie!
What is it with boys and throwing rocks.
So much for not getting their sleeves wet.  Graham is giving me the "I don't know" look:
What a fun trip!  We love Big Bear :-)
