Another broken car window

Back in March, the window on the driver's side door of the minivan decided to break.  Well, about 10 days ago the passenger window decided to quit working.  Actually, we had heard that familiar "crunch" when Bobby was winding up the window from his side.  Oops!!!

These garbage bags are really handy.  Ha ha!

So it was another trip back to the VW dealership.  We decided to rent a car this time as we had doctor appointments and a couple of holiday school drive-thrus.  Unfortunately, it was over $500 again to fix this window.  Grrr... Bobby and I were saying that if ONE more thing happens to this car, we are going to trade it in!  Well, the Check Engine Light came on just as he was driving home with the car after the window was fixed.  Whhaaaaat...??!

We were back at VW a few days later.  Even the Rep there is on a first-name basis with us now.  Ha ha! They couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong.  We were told it took the mechanic 5 hours and even so, there was no real reason for the Check Engine Light to come on.  Hmmm... I'm just glad VW didn't charge us 5 hours of labor!  They updated the software in the car and sent us our merry way.  So okay... ONE more thing that goes wrong with this minivan, we are seriously going to think about trading it in!!!
