Reptile show!

A couple of weeks ago, we were invited to a birthday party. The mom had asked me previously before the party if the boys wouldn't mind it if the party included a reptile show.  I'm glad Graham and Charlie were for it as it was quite fun!

So for those that are afraid of reptiles, please move on to the next post! But in case you didn't switch to the next blogpost quick enough, here's just a little beetle to start off the show:

And now a cute lizard.  I'm glad Graham is not afraid to volunteer information and hold these animals:
Here comes the snakes!
Looks like Graham got tangled with this one a bit:
Love the look on his face here although can't even see his eyes anymore with his hair being so long!
Charlie, at this point was still afraid to touch anything.  He was sitting with me but after awhile, he went over the opposite end to stand with Bobby.  Probably a good idea because this is what the guy pulled out next from his box!
Oh boy!  He called this one "Minion":
It took almost all the kids to hold this one up:
Charlie finally got brave enough to help out too.  Yay!!!
I'm so glad Charlie did get to at least touch one of the reptiles.  Funny he had to pick the last one, which was of course the biggest one of them all too.  Ha ha!
Back in your box, Minion!  I'm amazed at how that thing did fit in a little box:
What a fun day! I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the frog Chubby.  It was the biggest frog I'd ever seen! Oh well, perhaps there will be a next time.  Although Bobby wasn't so keen on the animals so not sure if it would be approved if the boys wanted something like this for their upcoming birthdays. So maybe we'll just stick to birthday cakes and fun presents :-)
