Making Bath-bombs

The boys still love taking baths together!  And so when the opportunity came about to make some bath-bombs in a kit, we decided to buy it for Graham and Charlie to have some fun with it.

Somehow we ended up doing it on the hard concrete floor.  Lots of mixing and coloring!
It was a bit tricky trying to get the powder mixture from one mold, into another mold, and finally into the largest mold.  But try, try, and try again until you succeed! :-)
Gosh, Graham's hair is getting so long!

Well, lots of leftover so Mommy ended up making 2 more bath-bombs.  Although no tub in our master bathroom so I guess the boys will be enjoying these in their bathroom as well:
The bath-bomb was basically a mixture of olive oil, epsom salt, baking soda, citric acid (hmm... never knew this came in a powder form), and food coloring.

Some pretty cool colored bath-bombs :-)
Here's the real test... I think the boys just like watching the bath-bomb fizz in the tub:
I'm not sure who is more excited - Bobby or me. LOL!!!  Although, I think the boys were a bit disappointed that the tub water did not turn into the same color as the bath-bombs.

Okay, onto the next project!  This one might take a while...
As usual, Graham is not really paying attention to what he is doing.  Ha ha! Wish us luck!!!
