Our new (used) car ~ Audi

Bobby and I decided that we finally needed a 2nd car since Bobby had returned his leased Ford C-Max back in October of last year.  He switched to a different company just earlier this month and looks like we will be staying in LA for at least another year!

So we all really wanted this one - the super speedy one, but I believe it was $130,000 for a used 2018! Ha ha, just kidding. Where would we put the golf clubs??!

But after coming back to Earth, we were looking at the A3 Sportback.  Bobby was so excited that he left our minivan at the dealership and brought the new/used car home.  Obviously the boys were elated!!!
This car is practically brand new as it has less than 5,000 miles on it for a 2017.  What a steal!  And it has all the bells and whistles like navigation, satellite radio, and all the safety features.  We weren't really going for the bright red as I think Bobby and I tend to lean on being less conspicuous.  But the grey one did not have all these features and had more miles on it. And I was a bit bummed out that this one didn't have the Pirelli tires either!

The Sportsback is a plug-in hybrid, which is what we wanted since we can take advantage of the solar panels on the house.  It will be nice not having to use up all that gas in the minivan all the time:
Oooohhh... so shiny!  It's just a bit bigger than the Ford C-Max which the boys actually adored.  What's funny is this whole "buying an Audi" started when Bobby rented an Audi SUV when the minivan was in service.  It looked so good in our driveway that we decided to look at what Audi had to offer.  And a 2 weeks or so later, this is what happened.  Ha!
Oh and there's one more feature that is only available in this car... it's a seat massager!!! a.k.a. Charlie :-)
I still might have to get used to this bright fire-engine red sitting in our driveway but so glad we stumbled on such a great deal!  Hopefully this car will last until Graham learns to drive.  That's only 6 years away.  YIKES!!!
