Bench project

No surprises here - another project!  We had picked up a bench a few months ago and it was finally time to spruce it up a little.  I'm so glad Graham loves to put things together including this high water-pressured sprayer.  He got right to it!

And he's constantly got that earbud in his ear.  He loves listening to audio books!  But sometimes, it's almost too much. He listens to them in the car but then is also window-shopping on his phone at the same time.  This kid I tell you, loves to shop!  He did not get that from ME! :-P

Bench already looks so much better!

Okay, I'm probably going to regret this decision - but I've decided to stain the wooden slates without taking those nuts and bolts off.

You obviously can't see it but the stain is getting onto the black frame:

But that stain is looking pretty darn good!! :-D

That's it for now.  Eventually I will have to spray paint the metal frame.  But in the meantime, a quick rest before sorting out the rain barrels.  So glad we are finally getting some rain!
