Mammoth!

Yup, you heard right!  The fossils of a woolly mammoth, believed to be 15,000 years old is on display in a local mall here. Of course we had to go see it!
For some reason, I thought it was going to be bigger - despite it standing almost 4 meters tall (approx. 13 ft) and the bones alone weighing almost a ton!
If anything, we did find a good place for Dutch pancakes/crepes for breakfast in the same mall. YUM!!!

Speaking of yum, here are the boys insisting on ice-cream before leaving the beach the other day:
It was a lot busier than I had expected for a late Wednesday morning.
Not like that bothered the boys.  Graham and Charlie started close to the cabana (which you can rent for a fee) and then, they spent almost 4 hours just digging and playing by the water with a friend. Perfect way to spend a (December) day!
