Happy Halloween (Oct 31)

Another fun Halloween!  We started the day at school with Charlie singing with all of 2nd Grade:
Charlie is getting so cheeky!!!
Both boys are "recycling" their costumes from last year.  I can't quite justify buying expensive Halloween costumes that you will only wear once a year!  Thankfully, we are getting our monies worth out of these outfits by wearing it the ENTIRE day!

After school, we went to a street fair at Riviera Village by Redondo Beach.  Glad I was able to get a parking spot!
Doesn't seem like too many people out here yet.  Glad they blocked off the street just for pedestrian traffic:
And it was so nice to see the service men and women out here handing out candy too!
Looks like we are taking a break to sniff out all the candy we had collected so far.  Ha ha!
I told Graham that he could have a small piece of candy, but instead he unrolls a big Tootsie Roll and dumps the whole thing in his mouth!
Instead of candy, this gelato store is giving out free gelato! Charlie is going through his candy bin again while we are waiting in line:
Break time for gelato time:
So many people now!!!  It's amazing how coordinated some families are.  We might have to "up" our game next year if we come to this street fair again:
After a quick dinner at home, we set up the house for trick-or-treaters.  And oh, can you believe this... it's our 1-year anniversary at this house! All the mess in this house still makes it feel like we just moved in. LOL!!!
Graham and Charlie are patiently waiting for someone to come by:
Look how great our carved pumpkins turned out!
Still waiting....
The bat carved-pumpkin looks good too!
Here is Charlie's painted pumpkin from school.  It's suppose to be Darth Vader.  Hmm....  I can't quite see it but as long as he is happy :-)
O... M... Goodness, so much candy!
We are definitely donating some of these!
