Music Open Stage (June)

Both Graham and Charlie participated in the Open Stage for their music studio again last month.  It was held online again although both boys are back in their studio for the lessons.  I'm glad they are being able to see their instructors in person again, although it does take me just about 30 minutes to get there!

Charlie went first - playing Minuet by Bach.  Looks like he is ready!

Well done, Charlie!  He's practicing the Minuet because him and Graham are going to do a duet at the next Open Stage.  I was hoping he would actually play the song he was currently practicing, but that's ok :-)

Next is Graham's turn.  Deep breathe before the performance!

Phew! That was a long piece! Graham played a piece called Humoresque by Antonin Dvorak. I'm not exactly sure but it sounded as if Graham lost track of where he was, but he just keep chugging along - which was awesome!

Looking forward to their duet.  I hope they do well - it's been quite the challenge during practice. Wish us luck!!!
