A trip to Pepperdine University (Sept 18)

I believe this is my first post since school started!  It has been a busy few weeks - getting ready for school and then, once school did start - to get both boys organized. This trip to Pepperdine University was about a month ago now.  Although I did type this post out 3 weeks ago and never did publish it!

Coincidentally, our neighbor's son from Tulsa (or Broken Arrow to be exact) is now attending college at Pepperdine!  It took over an hour to get there but it was so nice to see our neighbors again.  We met up at the college itself.  First stop - Stauffer Chapel:
It's not very big but the glass work and ceiling are magnificent!
And the view from outside of the chapel is breathtaking!
We had not seen our neighbors since leaving for Abu Dhabi.  Actually, we had celebrated Graham's 4th birthday in their kitchen!  That was 5 years ago. Wow!
Definitely not a bad spot to go to school.   Before leaving we had to take some more photos:
And Graham had to climb some trees.  Talk about some big trees!
And since there was a hill, what else will the boys do...?!?  I think it's so funny how Charlie always wants to win.  And he tries to cheat while doing it!
Ahhh... a mother's embrace before sending her kid off to college:
I wonder if I will shed so many tears??!  Well, good thing that won't be for another 10 years! :-)
