San Francisco - Bay Area Discovery Museum

Hmm... I guess vacation rules mean being able to play on Daddy's phone first thing in the morning??!
Love how the old trolleys are still operating in the city:
Love the murals too!
"Muscle park"??!... in comparison to Muscle Beach in Venice Beach:
There it is!
So many people!!! I wonder what the percentage/ratio of locals to tourist are around here:
We attempt to park on the other side of the bridge but the parking lot is closed :-(  So instead, we end up at the Discovery Museum.  Not a bad trade-off for Graham and Charlie!
So glad the boys didn't knock any little kids down in here:
What is it with kids and bubbles??!?
Family photo op :-)
There was so much for the kids to do in this museum:
We didn't actually get to print anything 3D :-\
The boys really enjoyed this room:
Who knows what they are fixing up!
20 minutes later... still here!
Okay, next one is outdoors:
Amazing what these kids can think up:
After a little bit, we work on some collage:
Charlie loves his art!
Graham loves... making stuff!
Lunch time!!!  The museum is busy but manageable:
Another view of the bridge:
Other random photos along the way:
Pirate cove / shipwreck:
Graham LOVED digging in this area:
It's amazing how BIG these trees are!
I don't remember what the story was behind this bell:
 Peek-a-boo!
These huts were really neat.  Somehow someone managed to intertwine these twines???
There is a new section based on Sid the Science Kid TV show:
Pretty neat looking at bugs underneath a microscope:
Complete with indoor playarea:
Glad Graham got this all correct!
Moving on to the next area of fun - kinetic sand:
These little Hex Bugs were fun too.  The boys got to build a maze for the bugs. Momma helped a little bit. I think we all did a pretty good job!
Once that was done, Charlie got busy with some art.  He drew a bigger whale around that pink whale and gave it a spout and a smile and two eyes :-D
Graham, on the other hand, got busy again with the blue building foam blocks:
Maybe this will be a fun little project for Mommy one day :-P (Don't forget to turn up the volume)
Didn't think we would be here all day but we definitely got our monies worth today! :-)
