Road trip to Point Pleasant, NJ ~ cont.

It's beach time by the Jersey Shore and gosh, it's been forever since we saw the ocean!  We packed our bodyboards along in the car:

Hello Graham!

We are back at the house and it's time for cake!

Pop-pop went out to pick up a birthday cake for Charlie.  And we are celebrating early since we will be in Malaysia during Charlie's birthday this year:

Charlie did manage to hook a little crab from under the deck and it crawled under the pool.  Ha ha!

The swans are back! I think they are looking for Charlie, thinking he has food while he's fishing. And looks, there's actually a darker colored one, just like in The Ugly Duckling story:

Daddy is flying back to IL tonight, but there's a storm and his flight has been canceled!

Thankfully he managed to change his flight and flew out of a different airport instead of Newark. 

On more night in Point Pleasant:

Off to stay with Grandma and Pop-pop tomorrow night before heading back to IL.
