We have tomatoes!

Despite the encounter with the deers, one of the tomato plants is doing really well!
And the green beans are sprouting too.
Our neighbor came by yesterday and mentioned that deers do not like Marigolds. So... needless to say, we went out and bought some!
And while we were in the backyard yesterday, a few little birds were learning to take flight.
This other one wasn't doing so well. I hope the hawk doesn't get it!
