Audition videos

Hopefully the boys will never find out that I posted their audition videos in a public space!  I signed them up for a Musical Camp this summer and they relunctantly said OK.  And by the time I realized they had to make an audition video, both boys were complaining even more about how I dragged both of them into it and they actually didn't want do to it.  Well, hopefully Graham and Charlie will realize how much fun they will have and/or the benefits of being able to participate in a camp like this.

So here goes, Graham decided to sing a part of "Consider Yourself" from Oliver:

And Charlie decided to sing "Agony" from "Into the Woods":

The boys were suppose to sing with emotion and enthusiasm, but obviously they wanted to show none of that.  Ha ha!

And there was also a dance audition video they needed to do.  We rehearsed for a few minutes for a few days.  Here goes!

And even Bobby participated!  This one makes me laugh so much. LOL!!

The camp teacher just sent out the casting list a few days ago.  Seems that Graham is going to be James in the James and the Giant Peach! Surprisingly, he didn't seem to stressed about it when I mentioned it. Prior to the audition video recordings, he was quite upset about having to do those.  He kept telling me that he just wanted to be in the background.  Well, I'm assuming he's going to be up and center being James! Perhaps this will be his time to be more confident in himself and shine on stage. Or... it could backfire. I hope the camp teacher will figure out how to deal with that!

Charlie has a few solo lines in another part/song, so I'm sure he won't have any issues with that.  I can't wait to watch the entire production at the end of June!  So only time will tell how everything goes.  I did tell both of them that they can put this experience/production on their resumes so that did make them quite happy :-)

Wish us luck!  Practice/Camp starts next week (school ends this Thursday!!) and will be every Monday - Thursday from 9am until 1230pm.  Phew!!!
