Disneyland - Part 2 (June 1)

The day at California Adventure Park the day before was so much fun!  Other than the first ride  - which we never EVER speak of now. Ha ha!

Thankfully, not as busy as I had expected for a school day (shhh... we skipped school today :-P):
We immediately headed over to the Star Wars Land - Galaxy's Edge.  This place is impressive!
Awwww,... it's Chewie!!
And then there was also Ray - working her accent (and plot!) just like in the movie:
There are so many props everywhere:
We went on one of the rides and when we were done with one part of it, the doors opened up and WOAH!..., a massive hangar with Storm Troopers.
It's amazing how much goes into creating these rides:
And even the crew were all in character.  This guy was particularly good being a mean guy!
Can't believe this was all built from scratch:
Look, it's the Mandalorian!
The details are just amazing!
Graham and Charlie of course couldn't help themselves again with these light sabers:
What a place!!
Blue milk, anyone? I didn't even know these existed in the movie.  Ha!
I really wonder how much money was spent building this place.  No wonder our tickets are so expensive:
Okay, we finally leave Star Wars Land and head over to another part of the Disneyland park.  We get on the steamboat for a quick R&R after lunch:
Looks like someone is tired!
Last night, the lady at a store along Downtown Disney shared with the boys about pin trading.  And oh boy, looks like the boys are hooked!
Omg, look at all these pins:
I think we may have started something here.  Oops!
We hurry away from the pin traders and pin stores.  Quick photo op with Walt Disney and Mickey:
Boys being goofy with Goofy :-)
Time for some pineapple whip near the Tiki Room:
And.... we are back by the souvenir store at the end of Downtown Disneyland.  I've decided to just plop myself on a bench under the shady tree while Daddy watches them in the store:
And... Daddy finally caved in and let them buy a light saber each:
Our Jedi in training:
We decided to take a break mid-day.  It's nice to have our hotel room nearby.  By the way, here's the floor in-lay when you get out of the elevator.  So pretty!
Graham and Charlie finally decided they wanted to swim.  There is a slide here!
Too bad the top most slide is closed today but looks like boys are still having lots of fun no less:
Daddy decides to join in as well:
After washing up, we are back at Disneyland.  We've decided to take the train to get over to Adventure Land:
Lots of fun with the Buzz Light Year ride.  The boys remembered this one from our last Disney visit.  That was 4 years ago, back in 2018!
Charlie decided to bring his light saber out back into the park again and he has it lit up while we wait in line for another ride.  Too funny:
We are at Autopia.  The smell of gas is actually pretty bad here!
Graham was excited that he got to sit by himself.  Bobby sat in another car while Charlie and I sat in one vehicle.  Charlie had a tough time driving the car. Not sure if we would go on this one again!

We somehow ended up in this one spot waiting for the parade and fireworks:
We were just tall enough to watch some of the parade as we didn't quite figure out the exact route:
Pretty decent view for fireworks, except for this one tree to the left!
The fireworks were quite something. I can't believe they do it every night??!

We end the night by going to the Tiki Room, which is what we did the last time as well.  The boys were persistent about doing it again.  Ha ha!  And on the way back to the hotel, the parade is back out again:
I guess Graham and Charlie are still happy with their light saber.  Another thing they could hurt themselves with. Ha!
And oh, we were going to bed and I was turning off the lights and ended up switching on the wrong light.  And wow... look at these lights on the headboard!
It was almost like finding an Easter Egg! Here's the view of the headboard that covers pretty much the entire length of the wall:
The switch was on this lamp in between the two beds!
And oh, it also played a little song.  It was from Cinderella "A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes".  Graham was actually singing along with the music.  Wish I had that on video.  It was so sweet.

One last look of Mickey's hands holding the light fixtures in the bathroom :-D
What a fun 2 days!!  I think the boys will definitely remember this one, or at least Charlie will as well too.  We've done so much but he was always too young to remember anything!
