Trip to Lima, OH (Sept 23-25)

Graham and Charlie are so excited about this trip to visit uncle Charlie.  Technically, he's not our uncle but we started having the boys call him that out of respect.  I was originally also suppose to go on this trip with Bob and the boys, but I was still in Malaysia caring for my dad at the hospital.

Graham and Charlie are getting better at packing up their own clothes now for trips:
Looks like they decided on Red Lobster for dinner on the roadtrip. We are a sucker for those warm biscuits:
I can't believe Daddy actually ordered crabs??!
No way, a photo to prove he actually got his fingers dirty to eat crab. I'm impressed!
And of course, it's the usual/as per promised McDonalds on roadtrips only:
Didn't take long for the boys to get outside.  Graham is flying his drone:
And Charlie is quick to get his rod out to go fishing with uncle Charlie.  He caught a bass!
And funny thing is, he's actually holding the fish with his fingers.  Charlie was never one to hold anything sticky or slimy with his fingers, and somehow uncle Charlie managed to convince otherwise.  Good job to both Charlies! :-)

These boys are being so spoiled by uncle Charlie and his wife Janice.  Nothing like home entertainment on the WII in the basement:
And full-on breakfast the next morning:
In the meantime, Mommy is woofing down some local dessert called Cendol.  Yummm..!!
Okay, I didn't actually drink it out of the bowl :-P

Uncle Charlie is quite the avid hunter and fisherman.  Boys were getting quite the education!
These boys are quite the sharp shooters :-)
And here's the main reason why the trip to Lima was planned.  Thanks to Amy's Army for organizing the golf tournament ~ in memory of uncle Charlie's daughter.  Bobby played golf with uncle Charlie and the boys helped Ms. Janice organize (or disorganize - Ha ha!):
What a lovely couple!
So glad the boys were still able to make the trip.  Graham and Charlie ended up taking an unexcused day-off from school but it was totally worth it :-)
Thanks to uncle Charlie and Ms. Janice for the warm hospitality and treating my family like their own.  Love you both!
