More random photos in Sept

Yes, some photo taken in Sept for almost an end-of-November post.  It's been so long and there's so many stories to catch up on!  

I'm finally able to get out again after being stuck quarantining from catching Covid during my trip back from Malaysia (mid Aug).  Still so odd how I was the only one that caught it and the boys were fine.  Here's our last canoe ride on the lake before storing it for the winter:

One more trip back to Malaysia at the end of September to see my dad again.  He still has not recovered from his surgery that had taken place about a month ago.  

Right after the boys dropped me off at the airport at the end of Sept, they all headed straight to White Castle.  It's Graham and Charlie's first trip. They are all very excited - Bob, maybe too excited!

Boys are still t-shirt and shorts for school for the most part of Sept:

Wow, this "sink rule" is still in effect. I'm really impressed, Daddy/Bobby!!

Charlie gets another appointment for his new set of retainers.  Let's hope he keeps them on more hours during the day compared to before:

Although, just found out the other day that Charlie has only been wearing his retainers at night.  Looks like there was some miscommunication there!  He was only suppose to wear them at night while he was waiting for the new set of retainers to arrive.  Oops! It was no wonder when he swapped them last week that his teeth were so painful the next day, because the teeth did not have enough time to adjust!

Boys are still enjoying their time on my side of the bed while I'm away:

Almost too much fun!  Charlie has "hijacked" my small yellow pillow!

Long weekend and so Graham and Charlie were able to go to the arcade center.  Is Charlie taller than Graham??!

Somehow Graham managed to get a gift certificate for a local restaurant.  Was it for good behavior? I don't remember now. 

In any case, it's definitely not for doing well in Chinese.  He is still struggling with reading and writing the Chinese characters but hopefully slowly and surely he will get it?!

It's been raining so much that there are more mushrooms growing in the yard!

One last hoorah at the golf club for Bob and the boys.  We've decided to quit the golf club and save some money instead:

Plus, there were a few quirky things that we weren't very happy about.  Bobby is going to miss his steam room for sure though!

Some time at the park while Mommy is away. I'm glad Bobby is keeping the boys busy outdoors some vs being indoors on the computer:

More bass, and more holding the fish with his fingers.  Yay Charlie!

Some high and low moments for Charlie.  I don't remember what he did here now but his punishment was to vacuum the downstairs area.  He does look pretty miserable. Ha!

I'm so glad Bobby and I are on the same page when it comes to disciplining the boys.  I can't be the only one that's the bad cop all the time! :-P
