After 2 years living in IL, we are finally going to a Chicago Cubs baseball game! The ride to Wrigley Field took quite a bit. This kid a.k.a. Charlie - still needs his naps!
Trying to take a photo outside of the stadium but the sun is not in the right position:I couldn't see my phone so one with more of me, and then the 2nd one with more of the boys. I guess that works :-)
This guy has quite the collection of t-shirts to sell. Impressive!!
It's the wrong entrance, so we keep walking. And there's seats on the roof-tops across the street. Fancy!
We finally get through the gate and yikes, so many people! We are definitely not getting food on this level:
And again, this place is packed!
One more floor to go. And along the way, the view outside - there's a big screen TV where you can watch the game:
Found our seats - not too shabby! Well done, Daddy!
I'm just happy we are in the shade:
You probably can't see it, but there are even more roof-top seats beyond the stadium walls.
Charlie being silly :-D
Had to take a photo in the "First Time" booth!
Hopefully it won't be the last time, but Cubs tickets are so much more expensive than the White Sox tickets!
Here's the view from on the ground where that big screen TV was earlier:
I can't even remember who the Cubs were playing against that day. And hmmm, I think they lost?? Wow, I have terrible memory!
I do remember that the boys took a peek into the fire station directly across from the field:
On the way back to the car, we come across the gate where the players exit. There are quite a few fanatics trying to get their autographs:
I think it's funny how me and Bobby are very similar in this way that we don't really have any specific person (be it in sports or movie-star) that we go ga-ga over, or any particular brand that we must have. I suppose we are made for each other in that sense. Ha!

We decided to hit the Wayfair store on the way home. This one particular section really amazed us. Shower-heads and wow, you can actually turn on the water and watch it function!
There's actual water coming out of that showerhead! It was the same for the faucets too. So fancy!
I'm not sure what persuaded Charlie to get into a doggy crate:
But he did actually fit himself in one, and of course the only next natural thing to do is to lock him up in it. Graham was more than happy to do that. Siblings, I tell you!
What will these boys (Bobby included!) do without their phones??!
Ahhh, dream dish drawer!
Graham, chilling in one of the fancy recliners:
I wonder at what point he will want his own bedroom. Right now he is still sharing a room with Charlie. I suppose if anything, the guess room downstairs is actually quite small. So maybe he won't want to move into the basement?? I suppose only time will tell. Can't believe that kid is going to be in high school next year!
