Random photos of Sept

As per usual, I'm still behind on all of my postings!  I can't believe I only had one posting in Sept. Wow, that's a new record.  The busy summer with kids' camps finally ended in August but somehow I've just been still so exhausted.  Bobby will probably tell you that it's because I go to bed so late!

Well... in any case, I'm just glad I finally got out to our lake this year.  I didn't get to do that last year, can you believe that?!
Graham and Charlie finally graduated to the bigger kayaks. No more sit-on kayaks for them. Graham is actually heavier and taller than me now!  And Charlie is gaining on me too.

Here we are on Nubby our canoe, with Charlie in front and his friend sitting in the middle.  What a lovely day it was:
Really do love where we live:
And we were finally able to get a meal outside!  With the mosquito netting of course. Those skeeters do LOVE me, and weirdly enough - just me!
And I'm not sure how, but this random raspberry plant started growing out of the compost bin!  I did just move it into the strawberry planter. We'll see if it lives on:
And I finally got to listen to my Bonnie Tyler record - gift from the boys.  Love it! Reminds me on my teenage years, listening to her on my cassette tape. Ha!
And she still sounds amazing!

Ahhh, I do need to sit downstairs more often.  Love the view our garden outside:
I've been able to bake just a little bit more (although, don't say the same thing about cooking dinners!).  These blueberry scones were a hit!
I can't say the same about the clean-up though.  There's got to be an easier way to clean up this mess. I suppose I could just dump everything into the dishwasher, minus the wooden chopping board:
Finally had to cave in and buy a wasp trap.  They were going after the hummingbird sugar water.  And I didn't want them building another nest within our eaves.  This one actually did work!  Although Bobby said that the bumble bees were also going into it, which I thought he was wrong about:
Foggy morning on one of my drives to work:
I love this wooded area on the way to work, minus the power lines:
Pretty sunset on the way home!
Hope to provide a few more updates.  It's been so long!
