O. M. G. The amount of snow we have gotten so far... and it's still December!! This is right after the 10" of snow a week ago:
The lake is already part frozen. And actually after today and tomorrow with 12F as a high and lows of -3F and 2F respectively, the lake is most definitely frozen!Would be so fun to drive the truck out there LOL!
Getting the snow off the bins. Daddy do :-)
Geez, so much snow:
Tried to remove as much snow as I could from the trampoline, without tearing the netting with the shovel. Ha!
At least the roads are somewhat clean:
19F last Sat = -7C. Brrrr...!!
The piles of snow on the sides by the parking lots are getting high. It's probably even higher now after the recent snow fall:
Icicles!
Here's our rain chain - also icy:
I think I missed my window to get these candy canes into the ground. But there's been so much snow that I'm able to stab it into the snow!
I guess I can also remove the Chinese New Year decor from our door:
Although CNY is going to on February 17 - which is coming up very soon (Year of the Horse). I suppose the cow decor is not going to work. Ha ha!

In the meantime, there has been scratching up again in the attic. The mice are back! Yup, another 2 have somehow ended up in the attic:
I went straight to the glue-trap because those worked the best last time. And yes, let's just say, Momma:2 vs Mice:0. Yay!!

Daddy admiring the wintery snow:
We might have this view for quite a while. So pretty actually!
Actually, more snowfall last weekend and I had to put the truck in 4WD. I was trying to get to my junior classes and nope, canceled! Could not drive over 35-40mph!
This is how much snow we had overnight, as you can see from the tire marks:
Icicles from the roofline:
Since the junior golf clinics are canceled, I guess this would be a good morning to put up the Christmas tree. Moving a few things around and oops! The lemon tree planter has fallen over. Noooo...!!
Okay, getting ready for the tree. Our neighbor once commented on how she likes seeing our Christmas tree by the window, so I guess we will just set it there every year :-)
Thankfully, Charlie is still willing to participate:
Graham, on the other time, is using the excuse of "I'm a Teenager". I hope he knows that he can only play that card for so long!

By mid afternoon, the roads are finally cleaned up:
Literally night and day with these road conditions!
I love where we live:
Definitely looking very frozen:
Boys are still dog-walking in these temps. Little Pippen has a sweater. So cute!
Just yesterday, a squirrel came around and grabbed the last few berries on the tree:
What's so cute was that it was eating while hanging upside-down. Too cute!
And as the ice and snow continues to build up, I'm having Charlie shovel it off the driveway. That ice is slippery! But with these really low temperatures, it's getting very difficult:
Maybe it will be warmer by January??! A little bit of wishful thinking doesn't hurt :-D
