We arrived early, parked, and ordered our food at the clubhouse from the car. After eating our lunch (again in the car), we are finally off! But first, look at all those chair lifts! It would be nice to get up here one day for skiing and/or snowboarding:
Family we-fie on the first tee!
I still can't believe how hot it is. We are at 7,000ft and still it's around 85F now!

On the first tee... Graham Pridgen! Look at that balanced finish!!! I think he probably hit the best tee-shot compared to me and Bobby. We were both left and Bobby re-teed and I just dropped one on the fairway when I couldn't find my ball. It was probably in someone's yard. Ha!
Charlie hit some good shots too. Look at that perfect angle on the downswing! Okay, maybe I'm a bit bias :-)
I thought the architecture of the houses here were very cute. Especially those pine tree cut-outs on the top balcony:
How about this one??! Love it!
Me and Graham - my cart buddy. He is so sweet, although maybe he was just trying to throw in some charm as all he wanted to do was drive the cart:

We are at the highest point of the golf course here. I had forgotten that the ball travels further in higher elevation. That was fun too being able to hit the ball 15-20 yards longer:
Here are some videos. First one is of Charlie. He really did get a hold of this one and Daddy sure liked it!
Graham didn't do as well off the tee, but ball is still in play. He seems so meticulous. I wonder what goes on in that little head of his:
Here's a Momma-fairy sighting! Ya, we obviously had some time in between holes:
The boys had a chance to play a hole where they had to hit over the water. We grabbed the oldest golf balls from their golf bags. Ha ha!
Unfortunately, Charlie put 2 balls into the water. Graham plunked his first golf ball into the water but then hit his next one off the tee over the green!
Looking at this photo, it seems like he needs a bit more lag on the downswing to create more power.
I think Charlie is still contemplating about picking up his ball that went into the water:
Quick photo opportunity while we wait for the next hole/green to clear:
The pine trees here are so tall!
Okay, here's Daddy. Love his pre-shot/practice routine :-)
And here is Mommy on the 9th hole. Still got it! He he...
Check out the corner of this house - what a fancy tree trunk design!
So glad Graham and Charlie love to play golf. Bobby and I really enjoy this family 4-ball :-D
On the last hole, Graham's ball ended up in someone's yard. We obviously ignored the sign and poor Graham paid for it when his leg scraped the top of this fence. The owner had painted some sort of abrasive on it and it hurt poor Graham. How mean is that!
Thankfully a few slaps with a towel on Graham's leg helped. And I made some of it up by picking some apples by the 9th green. It was yummy enough with dollops of peanut butter on it :-D
But before heading back to our cabin, we detour to downtown Big Bear first for some ice-cream. This is day 2 in a row now at this ice-cream location. Why not!
Fun times!
