Packing up in Abu Dhabi

Back from Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sept 18 and only 8 more days before we leave for Abu Dhabi!  We end up selling a couple of rugs. As much as I liked them, we just couldn't pack them.  We roll this one up for our new buyer:

This one would have been perfect for California but it was too thick to fold up! :-(

Oh well, life goes on - especially for these boys.  All is well as long as they have the TV...

And their tablets! And a wall outlet to keep it charged:

We sold our washer and dryer too. I didn't get a chance to dry the hand towels before it was taken away, so this will just have to do:

And some minor clean-up with the hop-scotch.  Note to self, don't ever use tape on tile again!

We sold all of our clocks too and I kept looking at the spots where the clocks used to be.  I ended up having to hang a little one on a leftover curtain tie/hook. Ha ha!!!

We ended up selling both cars as well - Bobby's VW Jetta and also our Honda Odyssey.  Loved that minivan!

We checked into a hotel apartment on the 21st. Funny enough, it's the same hotel that we checked in when we first arrived into Abu Dhabi back in July 2014.  How time has flown!

Charlie is such a character now.  The pic below is of them in the same hotel apartment 3 years ago - Graham was 4 years old and Charlie was just under 2 years old.
