become this??!!
Well, he is so lucky to have such a great Grandma and Pop-pop. Thank you both so much for the gifts! Some new undies and a set of PJs. Graham actually wore the PJ shirt to school. Not sure if anyone noticed??!
We thought the PJ pants were too long but when he actually put them on, they fit perfectly:
Charlie doesn't realize how lucky he is with such a nice big brother. Graham lets Charlie open up his presents as well:
A new Newton's Cradle! YAY!!! There was a little incident in the bedroom a few weeks ago and Graham's Newton's Cradle ended up all tangled and strings were broken. Graham was really upset with you-know-who!
But he is obviously very happy now:
As for the birthday cake, Graham requested for cupcakes. So I made cinnamon cupcakes with strawberries and the boys improvised by putting Cinnamon Crunch cereal in it:
The boys got to put icing and chocolate chips on the cupcakes at the restaurant. Graham requested to have dinner at the nearby Italian restaurant. So happy we didn't have to drive too far!
Tada! Glad the icing wasn't an inch high. Ha ha!
While waiting for our food, Graham opened up his birthday book. We really like Shel Silverstein, an American author which somehow I thought was British?!?. This Runny Babbit book is a book of poems where some of the letters are mixed around in the sentences. So Runny Babbit actually means Bunny Rabbit. Quite tricky to read :-)
Dinner is here! Spaghetti and meatballs - but no sauce for Charlie. Always so complicated when it comes to food with these two:
Okay, time for the cupcakes! Thankfully we are able to fit 8 candles on it. Might have to make a bigger cupcake for next year :-)
The restaurant provided a free birthday dessert as well for Graham. So nice!
YUM!!! Although Graham actually prefers the lemon sorbet so we ordered that one:
Good till the last drop!!!
One last present...
You can clearly see how happy Graham is here with his new drone! He actually caught a glimpse of the Amazon account on my laptop and saw the drone on the website, so perhaps he was already expecting it:
And one final gift when we got home - a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos. Graham LOVES his Doritos!!! Every time he opens the bag, he INHALES the smell of the chips. Too funny!
Hopefully Graham had a good day, at least we thought so. Poor Charlie was so sad when they were going to bed because he obviously didn't get any presents. And his birthday isn't until the end of July. Gosh, kids are so tricky!
By the way, the drone that we bought only has a flying time of 7 minutes per 1 hour charge. How can something like this be sold in stores??? That is just wrong!
Perhaps another drone is in order for Father's Day??? Or maybe for my birthday? Ha ha!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAHAM!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
