We are off to Phoenix for Spring break and Easter. We were suppose to leave on Friday afternoon but since Bobby couldn't get out of work early enough, we opted to leave on Saturday instead. Traffic would have been terrible on Highway 91 anyway. Thankfully the Easter Egg Hunt wasn't until Sunday!
I don't remember which exit# this was at along I-10 in Chiriaco Summit, CA, but some cool looking tanks at General Patton's Museum. This is the entrance of Camp Young, part of the Desert Training Center of WWII!
We make really good time into Phoenix and get a good night's sleep for Easter Sunday morning!
A couple of years ago, the boys did their Egg Hunt at the golf club here and they obviously wanted to come back to it again. Look at all those egg! Although, those are for the little toddlers. Their eggs are on the driving range! I like how Graham is taking care of Charlie here :-)
Oh wait, Easter Bunny is coming along to give High-5's first:
And they are off!!!
I am so glad the boys didn't stumble on the way down the hill of the driving range. Not as many eggs this year but they are happy nonetheless:
Daddy gets to take the "eggs" back for recycling:
Fun Easter Sunday with the Bunny! How on earth did the Easter bunny come about anyway???!
There is a petting zoo around the back of the golf club. Charlie didn't really dare to touch any of the animals. Neither did Graham actually, now that I think about it:
Lots of fun bouncing around at the Bouncy houses though! This was my vantage point from under a tree :-)
Until next year...!!!
