We found a different beach by the airport, as poor Bobby had to work during the weekend. I had no idea which beach we were at but we found some dunes which the boys were really excited about!
Prior to that, we dropped daddy off and guess which big airplane we saw...??!!
Here it comes... yup, Emirates Airlines from Dubai - a competitor of Etihad Airways, where Bobby used to work at. These Airbus 380 airplanes are massive! It was great that the boys were able to get really close to it:
Well, Charlie was sticking his head out of the car's sunroof, hoping to get the pilots' attention:
No success there for Charlie! Maybe next time... although we probably don't want Daddy to be working on the weekends!
Back to the beach! Graham and Charlie were jumping all afternoon:
The boys really do love the sand!
I later found out that this beach is called Playa del Rey and weirdly enough, the sand just below the surface was quite cool. Not sure how that is but it is not normally like that by Redondo Beach where we hang out. No dolphins on this beach but the view isn't half bad, with planes flying by:
The boys are "flying" too!!!
I think I would be pretty nervous about living in that brown house! Just doesn't seem very sturdy???!
The color of the sunset on the way home is spectacular. 3 months here now and we have yet to check out the pier at Redondo Beach:
So many people were stopping to take photos tonight:
No joke. It was truly that orange and vibrant!
