During my recent visit in MN, I decided to look for a hair salon for a long needed hair cut. I was happy to know that the salon would accept my hair for donation. I've been wanting to donate my hair to Locks of Love for a long time now but was not able to since some salons do not accept colored hair. But I guess they are being more lenient about it now. So... SNIP! All 8" of it...!

Locks of love
During my recent visit in MN, I decided to look for a hair salon for a long needed hair cut. I was happy to know that the salon would accept my hair for donation. I was just thinking that you hair looked like it was getting long in the New Years pic. I am glad that you found a place that would accept your locks! I am a little too selfish to cut mine off... they just take WAY to long to grow.
some salons will cut your hair for free. if locks of love can't use the hair i.e. too short,damaged, grey. they will sell it to help manufacture the wigs. I think it's a great way to donate and your hair will grow back.
