First off, I'm now an LPGA Apprentice!
And I even got a very official looking backpack :-)
I suppose I did pay for my membership. Ha ha!
In the meantime, keeping an eye out on Charlie. He's been practicing a bit more since he made the middle school golf team:
And... he is on his phone during practice. Wait, what??!
In the meantime, we were off to Rockford last weekend to practice for Charlie's Sectional golf tournament. But first, it's time for lunch at a taco truck!
Not too shabby! Just glad none of us ended up with upset tummies. LOL!
Somehow this trailer got off the hitch right at the intersection where we were having lunch. And so, all the boys jumped in to help out:
Thankfully the driver figured it out and no one had to strain any of their backs!
And off to Rockford we continued on! We brought another teammate along to practice with:
Fun fact, in 2001 - Tigers Woods and his dad hosted a golf clinic at this very same golf course (Ingersoll Golf Club) where the boys are playing. How about that!
Well, Sectional is tomorrow/Wed and it's suppose to rain. Hopefully Charlie will figure out how to maneuver all of his clubs without getting drench and play!
